SERVICE DETAIL

Lock Repair & Installation

A safe is only as secure as the surface it is fixed to. Correct installation means choosing a position that suits daily use, checking the floor or wall can carry the load, and anchoring the unit so it cannot be levered, tipped or carried away. We handle placement planning, drilling, anchoring and final alignment, then confirm the door and lock operate cleanly once the unit is fixed in position.

01

Before Service

We collect basic details such as product size, floor level, access route, lock issue, installation location and urgency. This groundwork lets us assign the right technician, the correct equipment, and a realistic time estimate before the job ever begins.

02

During Service

Work is handled carefully with proper tools, handling support, planning and customer updates. Every stage is executed with floor protection and constant communication, so you're never left wondering what stage the job is at.

03

After Service

Final checking, usage tips, care guidance and next-step suggestions are shared after completion. We don't consider a job finished until the unit is stable, functional, and you've been walked through anything you should know.

SUPPORT COVERAGE

What is included in Lock Repair & Installation

For home safes, showroom units, office lockers and newly delivered commercial safes.

Call Discussion

Basic requirement, product type and location details are collected upfront, over a call, before any technician is dispatched. This first conversation is what allows us to quote accurately and prepare the right team.

Site Clarity

Access route, staircase, lift and placement area are reviewed in detail, because most avoidable problems happen at access points nobody planned for in advance.

Team Support

Proper handling and support is planned before work begins — the right technicians, tools and protective material, decided from the actual job rather than assigned as a generic default.

Final Check

You receive a clear handover with usage and service advice once work is complete, including confirming the lock operates smoothly and sharing any care guidance.

WHY IT MATTERS

Why anchoring matters more than the safe itself

Most safes recovered after a burglary were not broken into — they were carried out whole. A unit that is not bolted down is a container with handles, however good its lock is. Correct anchoring ties the safe into the building's structure, which is what turns it from a box into a fixed security point.

That calculation changes with the floor. A first-floor slab, a wooden mezzanine and a ground-floor concrete pad each carry load differently, and the fixing has to match. We assess the surface before drilling rather than using the same bolt pattern everywhere.

Certification

Certified to global standards

Every safe we supply carries an independent certification you can verify — not a strength claim printed on a brochure.

Standard Region What it certifies
BIS (IS 550) India The Bureau of Indian Standards mark for safes and security equipment, covering burglary resistance and build quality.
EN Grade Europe European grading for burglary resistance, rated from Grade 0 upward according to the level of attack a unit withstands.
Japanese Grade Japan Japanese classification covering fire resistance and the rated duration a unit protects paper records.

Ask us for the certification of any specific model — we will confirm the exact rating before you order.

TRUSTED LOCKER & TIJORI EXPERTS

Why Tijoriwalas

Choosing who installs, repairs, or relocates your safe matters as much as choosing the safe itself. Tijoriwalas is an authorized channel partner of Steelage, ChubbSafes, and Ozone Security Solutions — a status that reflects a track record these manufacturers have verified directly. Every technician handling your unit is trained on genuine mechanisms from these brands, and every relocation follows manufacturer-aligned handling practice rather than a generic moving-crew approach.

This authorization sits alongside product-level certification. The safes and lockers we supply are tested and certified to recognised standards — BIS under IS 550 in India, EN Grade ratings in Europe, and Japanese Grade classifications — so the protection a unit offers is independently verified, not a manufacturer's claim taken at face value.

For customers, this means a safe relocated by an authorized partner keeps its manufacturer warranty intact and is re-installed the way it was engineered to work — not just moved and set down.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We install units regardless of where they were purchased, though we will point out anything about the model or its condition that affects how securely it can be fixed.

Anchoring requires drilling, so there will be fixing holes. We plan the position with you first, protect the surrounding surface, and keep the work to the minimum the fixing needs.

Often yes, provided there is enough clearance for the door to open fully and enough structure behind or beneath the unit to anchor into. We check this during the site visit.

A straightforward home safe is usually done within a couple of hours. Heavy or awkwardly placed units take longer, and we give you a realistic estimate before the visit.

Free installation is included within city limits for most products. Outstation work and complex placements are quoted separately and agreed in advance.
